Dear editor, The American Canyon graffiti ordinance proposal (“Am Can makes plan to speed graffiti cleanup,” April 8) has misplaced the responsibility for the cost of removal upon the property owners.

Dear editor, At least four beautiful, large trees were recently cut down in a parking lot on Main Street. The lot is on the east side of Main between First and Second streets, across from Wells Fargo. These trees were a defining feature of that block and their absence is jarring.

Why in the world do so many people think it is a good idea for gas prices to go up this much? It is insanity. I got particularly peeved when I saw this from Tim Haab, who is an environmental economist and libertarian blogger all rolled into one, so he covers all the bases I am mad at about this.
