Cooking demo, book signing at Oxbow Public Market

Author and culinary educator Patricia Wells will do a cooking demonstration and sign copies of her new book “We’ve Always Had Paris ... and Provence,” at Kitchen Library in the Oxbow Public Market, May 10, from noon to 3 p.m.

Wells, a journalist, author, and  cooking teacher, is an American who has lived in Paris since 1980. She is the author of 10 books, including “Bistro Cooking,” “Simply French,” “The Provence Cookbook”” and The Food Lover’s Guide to Paris.”
She is the only woman and only foreigner to serve as restaurant critic of the French newsweekly, L’Express. Since 1980 she has been food critic for the International Herald Tribune. Previously, she was a writer and editor for the Washington Post and the New York Times.
