On Friday, North Bay BMX held its second “Race for Life” event to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. With 127 racers in 28 motos, the event raised over $5,000 for the organization.
Each rider was required to pay a $20 entry fee, half of which was donated, along with donations collected by the racers over the month prior to the event.

Napa’s Seth Ponciano, 6, brought in the most donations with $865.
