Napa native named to dean's list

Pepperdine University student Rebecca Morris has been named to the Seaver College Dean’s List for the fall 2007 semester. In order to earn Dean’s List honors, students must be in the upper 10 percent of their class and maintain a 3.5 or better grade point average. This year, Rebecca Morris is one of 321 students to receive the honor./Register

Katherine Rainey, of Napa, was among 42 graduates who earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy during Arcadia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Hooding and Degree Ceremony on Feb. 16.

Radio veteran nominated for Hall of Fame

Seventy-year radio veteran Ward Glenn of Napa has been nominated for the 2008 Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame. Of the more than 100 nominees in the Bay Area, Glenn is the only representative from the North Bay (except Marin).

Decathlon team wins competition
