The Saints wiggled around four errors to upend Willits in a home game played on Friday.

St. Helena, which committed four errors, banged out eight hits on the way to defeating the Wolverines. The Saints, who won just six games the entire 2007 season, are now 6-5 overall under first-year head coach Dan Parker.
Dean Slattery shined on the mound and at the plate. Slattery worked all seven innings, giving up six hits, three walks and struck out six batters while throwing 110 pitches. At the plate, Slattery was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base. Matt Armstrong was 2-for-4 with a stolen base.

Cody Dorman, Phil Popick, Jeff Quirici and Erik Salinger each added one hit. Dorman scored three runs and stole a base while Popick, Quirici and Salinger each added one stolen base. Tyler Coon scored two runs and stole a base while Kendall Sanders added an RBI.
The Saints visit Upper Lake on Tuesday.
