Men's College Golf: Napa Valley fifth in tournament
Napa Valley shot a 391 in a Big 8 Conference Tournament Thursday at Spring Creek Golf and Country Club in Ripon. Brian Detweiler led the Storm with a 2-over-par 74.

John Frye won the 200 free (2:38.59) and 100 free (1:06.23), Brendan Taylor won the 50 free (27.63) and 500 free (6:52.46), Wesley Melton won the 100 breaststroke (1:45.75), and Vintage won both relays.
JV Softball: Napa 16, Wood 0 (five innings)
Brittany Savin pitched Thursday afternoon’s shutout, allowing one hit while striking out six.
Varsity Boys Golf: Vintage 219, Vacaville 225
Jeff Squibb fired a 41 on the front nine of the Silverado Resort South Course to earn medalist honors and lead Vintage (8-4 Monticello Empire League) to a win Thursday over Vacaville (10-2).
Varsity Boys Tennis: Branson 6, Justin-Siena 3
Markus Mueller and Justin Kaung each won in singles play, and Myles DeBoer and Radleigh Benning won in doubles action for Justin-Siena in Thursday’s Marin County Athletic League match against visiting Branson-Ross.
JV Girls Swimming: Vintage 85, Napa 31
Katherine Pella won the 200 free (2:49.92), Jenna Fehring won the 500 free (6:53.62) and 100 back (1:24.12), and the 200 medley relay team also won (2:36.24) for Vintage.
