Sgt. Bonifacio Lomeli has returned to Fort Bragg, N.C., from a 15-month tour to Iraq. He is a front-line medic with the 82nd Airborne White Falcons. He is the son of Bonifacio and Cynthia Lomeli, and grandson of Isaac Perez of St. Helena and Ramona Lomeli of Napa. Sgt. Lomeli and his wife Calista reside in Raeford, N.C.

On March 16, Image Dance Team competed in the hip-hop category at the Showstoppers Dance Competition. The local team won first place in their division category and also brought home a second trophy for overall top score for all dance categories in the competition. The hip-hop team was newly formed in September 2007 by coach and choreographer Christa Gonzales.

Native Napan Michael Wiley has recently been promoted to district general manager of Sacramento Regional Transit. Wiley is the son of Napans Toni and Vern Blaziek of Napa. He attended Irene Snow Elementary School, Ridgeview Junior High and Napa High School, where he was the student body president and lettered in football and track. Wiley graduated from Napa Valley College  and went on to Sacramento State. Wiley is married to Sheri (Humpert), has two daughters and two grandsons./Register
