• Place: Council Chamber, City Hall, 955 School St.

• Agenda: The council meets at 3:30 as the Housing Authority to discuss the Laurel Manor capital improvement plan. The afternoon council agenda includes: appropriate $900,000 from various accounts for the next phase of the Commuter Bike Path along Napa Valley Wine Train tracks • Amend contract with Hart Restoration/Hartland Nursery for $90,000 worth of trees and native plants for the Napa River Oxbow Preserve Project • Approve professional services contract with Willdan for associate planner services for six months to temporarily fill a staff vacancy.

The 6:30 p.m. agenda includes:

• Public comments • Approval of response to 2007-08 Napa County grand jury report on fire service to west Napa

• Public hearing on abandonment of a portion of Napa Street at the Napa Valley Wine Train track crossing

• Public hearing on a revised master plan for Trancas Crossing Park that includes improved access for people with handicaps.
