Preserving Napa’s open spaces

The Napa County Board of Supervisors and the Napa County Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting to discuss the General Plan update and critical issues related to the so-called Angwin “urban bubble” on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 9 a.m. at the Lincoln Theater, Yountville Veterans Home.

Life in America: Cows before people

Recently, a video came across the Web, showing a cow laying down in a building. Someone was spraying it from a water hose. The caption said the cow was being “sprayed with cold water” to get it to walk to the slaughtering site.
