Electronics, including computers, printers, copiers, fax machines and TVs: Goodwill Store, River Park Center, Imola Avenue and the Recycling and Composting Facility, 820 Levitin Way, American Canyon.
Clothing and Furniture: items in good condition can be donated to Community Projects, 715 Franklin St.; Salvation Army, 1326 Main St.; Acorn Thrift Shop, 657 Main St., St. Helena; Thrift Manor, 1340 Tainter St., St. Helena, and Community Thrift Shop, 4207 Broadway, American Canyon.
Pickup at your home can be arranged by calling Salvation Army, 800-958-7825; American Veterans, 800-747-8387, and United Cancer Research Society, 800-443-4224.
Odd and Ends: Building materials, furniture, lawn and garden items can be dropped off at the Napa-Vallejo Reuse & Recycle Center, 889B Devlin Road, American Canyon. Fabric furniture, car parts, large appliances, TVs and computer monitors not accepted.
Hazardous Household Items: Vehicle batteries, alkaline and rechargeable batteries, fluorescent lamps and tubes, paints and household cleaners, medications, antifreeze and items containing mercury can be dropped off free Fridays and Saturdays at the Napa-Vallejo Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility, 889A Devlin Road, American Canyon.
One-time Bulky Items Disposal: Customers of Napa Recycling & Waste Services got a coupon in November for one load of bulky items delivered by Feb. 29 to the recycling and composting facility, 820 Levitin Way, American Canyon.
Customers of Napa County Recycling & Waste Services can drop one free load anytime in 2008 using a coupon mailed recently.
n Freecycle: Free items in good condition can be swapped online. Go to www.freecycle.org to find the local chapter.
Disposal for a Fee
Curbside Pickup: Up to four bulky items, including furniture and appliances, will be picked up at your Napa home for $30.64. Call Napa Recycling & Waste Services, 255-5200. Each additional item is $12.36.
Self-Delivery of Junk to Transfer Station: Price for a pickup load is $22. A single manufactured item costs $25. Transfer station is at 889 Devlin Road, American Canyon.
