The new vocabulary

In our household, we’ve been known to invent a word or two. It wouldn’t be fair to accuse us of promoting a dead English language, one in which every word that will ever be needed has already been invented.

Stop the polarization of America

I can’t help but notice in recent years how polarized our country has become. We have not been so divided by hateful rhetoric since the Civil War.

The old adage in journalism is “follow the money.” While Deep Throat apparently never actually said this to the reporters tracking the Watergate story, it still applies. That’s why looking at who donates money to which local candidates is illuminating.
