American Canyon police were dispatched to a mobile home park in on Flosden Road where a 73-year-old male coaxed two young boys into his mobile home with intention of playing games on  Friday afternoon, according to police.

They boys told police that Charles Hoag asked them to take off their shirts and their pants, police said.
At that point the children ran out of the house. Hoag grabbed one of the boys, who was able to get away. The children went to their homes and reported what happened to their parents who called authorities, police said.

Hoag was arrested a short time later and booked on lewd act with a child under 14.

" It makes you wonder if he has priors. Good job boys of having enough sense to get away. "

" Why isn't he listed on the Megan's Law web site? Is he in violation or is this his first time? "

" napanee:
People accused of crimes do not go on to the Megan's Law list, only those convicted. This person is only accused of a crime. "

" Thank you NVR, I guess it was just me thinking out loud. We both know that this probably is not the first time for this man. It would be very rare if it was. "
