" Since we have no effective representation in the House of Representatives could you please help us get the funds to finish our flood program? "

" Two hours would not be enough time to complain about all the things Senator Boxer has done during her term in office. "

" Maybe Barbara Boxer would like to vist Lilian Clark at the hospital and tell her why she thinks amnesty for illegal aliens is a great idea. "

" "Napanee" better than that maybe she will want to bail Mr. Pacheco out of jail so he can run over someone else. "

" Two hours is just enough time to give lip service to the NVR about what a great job she is doing. What a farce. "

" Yep. Those comments would send me rushing back to Washington to get government funding Napa so desperately needs. And yet, next week these same people will be complaining about how government doesn't do anything and how elected representatives don't care. Do you people really wonder why? Yes, there are thousands of good Napans in our community who do not use the Napa Register's online comments section and who have more supportive opinions about Senator Boxer. It would just be nice to see a couple supportive comments - she is a Senator and worthy of some respect. Regardless of your personal feelings, Napa is in serious need of federal funding and I am greatly hopeful the visit will help us all. "

" Semi straight talk...
I’ll support Senator Boxer...after she and her family fully disclose how they’ve become so wealthy while holding an elected office....I’ll even support Pelosi if she does the same....something is desperately wrong with our republic when these elected officials accumulate such massive wealth while ‘serving the public!’ How about Senator Reid...too? <

" Straight Talk, nobody likes your senator but you. Get used to it! Politics is viscious stuff and people in elected office need a thick skin. Can you handle it? "

" Sorry Straight Talk,
Everyone else is right! Pelosi is the worst speaker of the house in history. Along with Scary Reid they have done absolutely nothing but complain and whine about the current administration, want to pull out of the war on terror and stick their heads in the sand, but have NO new or GOOD ideas. Thus the ratings in the high teens.. ALong with Feinstein and Boxer it's no wonder our State is again one of the worst in the nation with the highest taxes and home prices and Major Debt and disrepair of our infastructure. Yet THEY are filthy rich..Go figure.... "
