Dear editor, Recently, Intrawest Placemaking and Alain Pinel Realtors celebrated the holiday season by donating $5,000 to Clinic Ole.

Intrawest is the development company for the new Westin Verasa Napa Residences, and Alain Pinel is the selling agent for the hotel-condo units. Both companies felt strongly that they wanted to give back to our local community. Tim Murray, vice president and regional manager of Alain Pinel, based in San Francisco, and Joe Walsh, vice president of development at Intrawest, based in Reno, presented a check to Clinic Ole at a luncheon where they applauded our success in providing high-quality, affordable health care in Napa County for the last 35 years. On behalf of all of us at Clinic Ole, and of the thousands of clients we serve each year, we sincerely thank Alain Pinel Realtors and Intrawest Placemaking for this generous gift and for their commitment to supporting our local community.
Beatrice Bostick, executive director Community Health Clinic Ole

" I'll gladly donate hundreds of dollars as soon as Clinic Ole guarantees that they will only provide services to legal citizens. "

" Westin Verasa is looking for a PC approach to gain acceptance in the valley. Sorry! You're simply attempting to appear as though you care about this place. What you're really doing, WV, is supporting the clinic which serves, predominantly, the very people you hope to employ, at low wages, when you invade Napa. You're serving your own purpose while trying to look like the "good guy." You're just buying cheap insurance for your future low wage employee base. You aren't fooling anyone. "

" Common Sense: Ditto. Clinic Ole also delivered condoms to underage citizens instead of taking time to inform them that they should restrain themslves. Boys will be boys? What a sexist insult. Even if that is so, girls have lost respect for themselves. After all, it is the unmarried female who gives birth to a BAST***. "
