Power outages hit downtown Napa

4 p.m.A power outage affected approximately 2,000 Napa residents today starting at 12:25 p.m.

Jana Schuering, a PG&E spokeswoman said the outage occurred after a power wire came down due to windy and rainy weather conditions.
Residents on Valley Oak Drive, Laurel and Division streets and surrounding areas were affected by the outage and power was restored to customers at 1:19 p.m., Schuering said.
