CommentTraffic will be squeezed at various locations in Napa this week.
Because of underground utility repairs, lanes at the north and south ends of the Trancas Street/Big Ranch Road intersection will be closed between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the city reported.

Northbound Main Street between Third and Second streets will be closed periodically as work on the reconstruction of Veteran’s Memorial Park wraps up.
Fifth Street will be closed between Main and Brown streets on Wednesday and between Brown and Coombs streets on Friday.

With construction about to start on the Avia hotel at First and Franklin, equipment will be assembled on the job site this week. As work proceeds, part of Franklin next to the construction will be closed.
