December DUI listings

 The Napa Valley Register publishes monthly statistics on arrests and convictions for driving under the influence — and so-called “wet reckless” convictions — in Napa County. Statistics are published in print the first Monday of each month and online when they become available.

Gun and pot bust in AmCan

A search of a red Chevrolet Beretta in American Canyon turned up a .357 magnum and six baggies of marijuana early Saturday morning. American Canyon police arrested two Vallejo men — Brandon Singleton and Terry Jasper, both 18 — on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in public, possession for sale of marijuana and other charges after the vehicle they were riding in came to a halt at Highway 29 and Mini Drive.

Drug stop, DUI in Napa

A Fairfield man was arrested in Napa Saturday evening after being stopped because one of his vehicle’s headlights was out. Don Lotz, 31, consented to a vehicle search at Brown and Pueblo streets, and Napa Police found Vicodin and morphine tablets in the car, Napa Police Sgt. Don Honey said.

Napa merchants are on the lookout for counterfeit $5 and $10 bills after some bad bills were passed to at least one Napa business earlier this week.
