" Definately not Condos! "

" I live on Third St. and didn't realize there was anything that needed to be fixed. If anything, there's that little stretch between ABC, Val's, Nation's, and there's an old empty gas station or dealership (Hedgerow?). It would be nice to have that little stretch spruced up or have something done with that empty building. "

" Better look all around Napa before you make any decisions. There are many, many areas that look worse! So I agree with JMB.....didn't realize it was a problem. "

" Where Jefferson and Third intersect I believe there is an old rail that lies beneath the pavement. I often wonder why Napa City ever created one way streets? Way cool dewd!! Not necessary though. "

" Hedgerow and the corner building next to Bilco's -- aluminum siding like the old Brewsters, bad form. Those 2 alone are major eyesores. I sure hope that the Uptown will have it's day in my lifetime... "

" If you want to focus on an ugly spot in central Napa than clean up the stretch of Jefferson across from Napa High School. It is so dirty and discusting that I avoid that section of Jefferson whenever possible. Why has it been allowed to deteriorate and remain so? Do our city leaders not care? Do they think that our tourist do not drive on Jefferson? Wrong! "

" While the downtown area is being fixed and third street is coming into view, I believe that there are other areas that could use some attention. Third street is pretty much fine how it is. South Coombs Street could be worked on between the library and Imola, or other roads that have massive pot holes in them that people are constantly running over or are swerving to avoid (putting others at risk.) Maybe we should look beyond downtown at what else really needs to be done. "

" Oh yea, South Coombs... And down along the river is scarry! And Westwood area.. Grafitti is horrible there, and all the cars broken down everywhere..The list goes on and on. But the funny thing is Wilkins is not the worst place in town to live anymore. "

" This would be an interesting topic for a story.."What do you think should happen to napa" Let people say what they want. Third St is nothing compared to the rest of this dump. And still nothing fun for kids to do, that does not cost an arm and a leg. "

" Third St.?? OMG, it is one of our better looking streets. Besides, no one goes downtown anyway except for the people who work there. I suggest this no-brainer: Have First St. bring the traffic into downtown Napa. This way tourists will be able to find downtown. "

" Is there a way to send Third Street straight through the County buildings, where we can lay scratch in the main lobby if we don't like the job they've been doing? I’m afraid this is the only kind of feedback that they might understand. "

" Most of this is code enforcement and planning. They need to held responsible for clean up. God don't let the city council get started on third st. It makes my head hurt picturing what they would/could do. The council needs to get out of the artsy fartsy, touristy, development business and do what they are supposed to. Clean up and repair this town. The current group has got to be replaced. If three new council people come in, It would be the majority needed to get things done. The other two would go along or be voted out next time around. I believed they would just leave. The shame of getting things done by freshman council people would kill them. "
