I am a conservative Republican and I am voting for Ron Paul. Ron Paul was right that we should go after Osama in Afghanistan and he was right that we should not invade Iraq. None of the other candidates even come close touching him fiscally and staying the course in Iraq just doesn't make sense, even if the surge is "working." I voted for Bush parlty because of his "no nation building" talk-- thank goodness Ron Paul actually means it! "

I suppose if his camp were to be in a position to obtain the office that a well formed plan should be laid before the american people. Perhaps that would be beneficial in setting such public concerns at ease.

The United States government kept Hussein in power, and supplied him with the chemical weapons he used on his own people--look up Dr. Doug Rokke, who was commanding the men responsible for removing depleted uranium from the tanks (most of which are dead or now have cancer), who claims the military destroyed the WMDs at the end of the first Iraq War.
Most of the terrorists on 9/11, and most of the terrorists in Iraq today, came from Saudi Arabia, yet Saudi Arabia is our friend, and Iran is our enemy.
This is a war to create an economic union in the Middle East, which is why we’ve created a military complex the size of the Vatican in Iraq. “Global Straight Jacket” written in 1999 by Joan Veon, a free lance UN reporter, who has interviewed top officials from around the world, predicted this war in her book. Veon has her own website.
Many journalists have written about Middle Eastern terrorist involvement in the Oklahoma City bombing (the terrorists coming here when Bush 1 let 10,000 Iraqis into our country after the first Gulf War), and how top officials in the FBI hid this information from the public—Patrick Briley, a navy veteran, who spent years researching this, has written about these terrorists that remain hidden from public view.
I don’t know how much of this war Ron Paul understands, but his stance on ending the war, and bringing our bravest men and women home to protect this country, is right on.

I’m not just fan of Ron Paul because of his stance on being able to keep tips. I’m a fan of Ron Paul because of his dedication to this country, the constitution, and his entire message of freedom, prosperity and peace. I especially like his foreign policy of non-intervention (staying out of the internal affairs of other countries), and his firm understanding of monetary policy and the true causes of inflation. I believe that if everyone in this country would take the time to hear his message and educate themselves better, we’d be headed in a different direction as a nation, one for the better. His message isn’t one that can be easily delivered in a 30 second sound bite or a quick snippet on TV; it’s one that is well formed and takes time to deliver, but most of all, it makes complete sense. Douglas Lind Rokke, Doctor of Vocational Education, Major, United States Army Reserve (retired) - did not command the men who decontaminated armored vehicles hit by friendly fire DU kinetic energy penetrator munitions. He was attached to that team. Neither he nor any of the other 29 members of the team got sick or died due to exposure to DU. Rokke had nothing to do with the destruction of the Iraqi WMDs. He also knows nothing about anyone who he served with who is sick or dying of cancer. He is a total fraud. He claims to be a "warrior", but was safe in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia HQ throughout the war. He has even claimed to be a disabled combat veteran. Those of you who are disabled combat veterans, and I salute your service and I expect that you do not like phonies who claim to be disabled combat veterans. Remember that claim the next time you see his name and then wonder what lie you are about to be told. "

Among our presidential contenders only Ron Paul has studied, written and spoken about US and international monetary policy for 40-some years. He sits on congressional oversight committees on the economy, finances and monetary policy.
As we head into a Fed-created recession,Paul alone among the surviving candidates is qualified to comment authoritatively on the problem, and the financial/market show commentators all know this. It would be ludicrous for them to host Romney or Hillary when they could have Paul as a guest.
Representative Paul serves on three Congressional committees:
* Committee on Financial Services
_Ranking Member - Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy, Trade and Technology
_ Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation
* Committee on Foreign Affairs
_Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight
_Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere
* Joint Economic Committee
Google "Ron Paul Library" (online) for a collection of over 1,000 articles and speeches by Ron Paul, especially the section on the economy and monetary policy.
