No more years for Bush doctrine

Dear editor, Thank you, Sen. John McCain. You told all of us, Republican, Democrat and Independent, why we should not vote for you. On Thursday, Jan. 10, you were quoted in the national press: “I agree with the (Bush) doctrine.”

John must be out of touch with the rest of America. The Bush doctrine has the lowest approval rating ever. With that one statement, he assures us that he has no plan to improve our country. Worse, he will continue the failed plans that have already been discredited.
We cannot allow four more years of the Bush doctrine. Find yourself a candidate in the Democratic race and get involved. This will be the most important election many of us will ever participate in.

" I haven't seen the question actually polled, but if asked "Do you prefer the Clinton doctrine of letting the terrorists strike America and then going after them with lawyers and cops or do you prefer the Bush doctrine of going after the terrorists, and the countries that support them, BEFORE they have attack?" I would wager that most Americans would vote for the Bush doctrine... "

I'll take Clinton's. At least he has terrorist rotting in prison as opposed to running around Pakistan and Afghanastan "

" Actually, Bill Ryan, you are the one out of touch with the rest of America. I'm tired of liberal elitists telling us all how we are supposed to think. President Bush (who I certainly have some disagreements with) may hit every tree while walking through the forest, but for the most part he's at least going the right direction. The crazy left can't seem to find the correct path at all! I guess that is to be expected with Cindy Sheehan doing the navigating. "

Well now ‘sickofthis’…if it were not for your guy Clinton’s numerous policy failures thousands of Americans wouldn’t be rotting in graves today, but for you a few terrorist convicted in a jail cell rotting is a better solution…that’s so Clinton it sticks to High Heaven.

What's up, boys? -- Aren't the self-styled 'conservative' ideologues at NVR just... great great KeyStone Kops? The pratfalls are endless -- However with the economy in deep trouble, trillions looted, thousands dead, and Osama bin Laden still running free and laughing at him all the while George W. Bush plays 'Dancing with the Sheiks' and grovels on TV for more oil, while snarling at the American public, does make this last year of "The Lil'Bush Show" a bit hard to watch. " Ummm, Yes, Ruff, CLINTON's policy failures. He failed to take out Bin Laden. Then he and Hillary sent Sandy Berger to hide evidence from the 9/11 Commission (where Berger stuffed classified documents from the National Archives down his pants). Strangely, his administration complimented Haliburton before giving them a non-competitive contract for Yugoslavia...though when Bush did the same thing, you hypocritically railed on him. Clinton's Middle East peace plan went nowhere. He allowed millions of deaths in the Rwanda massacre, and did nothing. He allowed France, Russia, China, and the UN to bypass resolutions on Iraq, ending any chance of a peaceful resolution. But hey, Clinton did a couple of good things...he moved the Democrat Party to the right slightly (i.e. welfare and crime) and his wife single-handedly launched the Republican Revolution of 1994 with her national healthcare plan. But for the most part, Clinton will be remembered for his policy FAILURES. "

" John McCain is the right man for president. He will keep this war on terror going strong. I don't understand how so many Americans think we can just pack up and leave the middle east and just leave the troops from the other 25 countries to fend for themselves. If we did that we would lose all our allies and have nobody to help us out when China or Russia try to atttack us. Other countries won't leave Iraq because they realize how great the threat of terrorism is. They've had their countries invaded and destroyed by the Nazi's. They are more in tune with reality. The American public thought we would just go over and win this war in a month. It doesn't work that way. Bush is the man!!! "

" 9/11/2001 was brought to you by Billy Bob Clinton. He had Bin Laden literally in the cross-hairs and was too frightened to act on the opportunity. Thanks to Clinton more were killed on that eventful morning than were lost at Pearl Harbor and the whining minority wring their hands and persecute George Bush for battling the demons in the Middle East. It's no wonder our country is on a course for complete destruction, the "Can't we all just get along" liberal minority own the media and have corrupted the minds of the uninformed. Thank God we don't let NY, CA and FL determine who becomes President. As long as we have more red states than blue, we carry on. "

" "Here Ye", the 'Usual Suspects', which is my name for our local troop of Republican-enabling dead-enders, aren't really making up new stuff, they are just repeating the old elephant dung. The "Bill Clinton didn't kill Bin Laden" lie was made up long ago. It has been debunked repeatedly, but some people think repeating that particular lie again and again with a sense of outrage will make it true. But just like all the other Bush-enabling canards, it just ain't so... It would be refreshing to actually have some fresh Republican-anabling lies to debunk. The latest incarnation of this lie was in the form of an ABC fake-u-drama put out around the 2006 election to try and forestall the massive Republican defeat that happened anyway. ~Ruff "

" Notice how our NVR 'conservative' vaudeville troupe say that Clinton's failures are well documented but fail to provide EVEN ONE actual source of their claimed documentation? -- That's because they don't have any documentation of Bill Clinton having a policy of not going after Bin Laden. Referring to non-existent 'documentation' hoping that people won't catch them at it is a long time scam. Actually, Bush's record of 'Failing to go after Bin Laden' is what is well documented. It comes from Bush ignoring the warnings from the outgoing Clinton adminstration that terrorism and Bin Laden were going to be the incoming administrations biggest headache. It comes from Bush ignoring the PDB with a head line that said 'Bin Laden To Strike Within the US'. Bush's record of failure also comes from accurate reporting that Bush pulled crack US troops away from Tora-Bora and let Bin Laden get away. And that's not the only time that Mr. Bungle has let Osama make a clown out of him. Only 364 more days until the nation can celebrate Bush's Last Day!!! Lord, I sure hope that the Republicans are smarter this time and don't pick another bungler like Bush. ~Ruff "

" BJ Clinton presided over the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, bombing attacks on our embassies in Africa, the murderous attack on the USS Cole and the admission of the 9/11 terrorists to the US. Clinton, as Commander-in-Chief, could have prevented all of these terrorist events but did not. Ruff, you want documented proof that Clinton did not have a policy?? That makes no sense. How about the failure to succeed! "

" What a suprise, the Usual Suspects are yammering about BJ Clinton's failure to prevent the first WTC bombing, while skipping off to LA-LA Land and simultaneously claiming that it is Bill Clinton's fault that Mr. Bungle did not prevent 9-11. Still no documentation that Bill Clinton had prior warning of the first WTC bombing and refused to do anything about it, which is what happened in the case of Mr. Bungle. Mr. Bungle's crack clown-team of misleaders had ample and repeated warning that trouble was coming and did nothing but try to sweep it under the rug, both BEFORE and AFTER the 9-11 attack. Yet we are supposed to believe that of all the presidents who have had to struggle with terrorism that Mr. Bungle is some huge success when he ignored the President's Daily [Security] Briefing which had the title "Bin Laden To Strike in US" as a title, was delivered to Bush by the CIA, and the briefer was told, "Now you have covered your a**". One wonders why after receiving such a briefing Mr. Bungle went on with his photo op and did nothing when the FIRST plane crashed into the WTC on 'My Pet Goat' day. BUT... Sitting there like a stump in front of national TV crews AFTER the SECOND plane struck tells us the real story... Mr. Bungle was, is, will forever be, incompetent to hold public office. However, there are still some sad Bungle dead-enders that keep bringing up a subject they think makes "BJ Clinton" look bad, when it actually outs Mr. Bungle for what he is. From the attendance at BJ Clinton's speech the other day by women that I observed, and personally asking some women about it, they don't seem to hold Clinton's monogamy failures against him. ~Ruff "

What is really hilarious is the fellas trying to distract everybody from the way Mr. Bungle let Scooter Libby off easy for lying and obstruction of justice in attempting to help cover up a conspiracy to commit treason! No! Don't look folks! Not even if Bush's own dad said it was treason! All the while our local Vaudeville troupe plays at crying crocodile tears about Clinton's peccadilloes. Hmmm, covering up treason is OK if you are a Bushite Republican, but sex, why that is just HORRIBLE! Our Republican-enabler friends are just plain crackers over Clinton's zipper! And it makes me laugh to think these folks consider themselves to be factcheckers! Have they started perusing the new searchable online database of 935 LIES told by the Bush administration as they lied the American people into war, yet!?! Calculating now... 3931 American dead in Iraq divided by 935 LIES means that for every lie told by the Bush Administration "to get their war on" a little over 4 of America's kids has died! Shall we calculate how many maimings per lie next time? More on the 935 lies to come! Hint: Bush personally told more lies than anybody else. Not exactly a suprise, eh? ~Ruff "
