Local student wins scholarship

CommentStandard Pacific Homes of Northern California has awarded Raisa Angeles, a senior at Vintage High School in Napa, a $1,000 college scholarship as part of its StanPac Scholarship Program.
Angeles currently holds a 4.59 grade point average while participating in numerous clubs and activities, including the Business Club, Key Club and National Society of High School Scholars. She has also been a member of the Badminton team since 2005. Angeles is eyeing a couple different colleges at this point and is looking at pursuing biology as a major in hopes of becoming a pediatrician.
