The Boy Scouts of America will recycle Christmas trees on Jan. 5. Please have your tree -- stripped of ornaments, nails, metal, stands or spikes -- on the curb or in front of the house, clearly visible by 9 a.m. A donation of $5 per tree is suggested and appreciated, according to the Boy Scouts.
