Longtime motorcyclist Richard Fleckenstein of Napa won a custom Harley-Davidson from Orange County Choppers and Mervyns.

Fleckenstein is an avid fan of the cable TV hit “American Chopper,” which features Orange County Choppers. He was awarded his custom bike at Mervyns in Napa on Saturday.
“I was very excited when I received the call,” recalled Fleckenstein. “I don’t normally enter contests, but when I saw it was OCC, I did.” More than 10,000 people entered the contest.

Fleckenstein, a systems analyst at Napa State Hospital, is a member of the Santa Rosa-based Redwood Empire Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. Lianne Milton/Register
