I'm probably the least political person you'll ever meet, but I just finished reading Napa Valley Register staff writer Jillian Jones' well-written article, "Taxpayer group takes aim at NVC bond bid, Supporters: $178M measure is key to college's future." I have a few thoughts to share.

Dear editor, To the Christmas Eve Scrooge or Scrooges who decided to come into our lovely decorated court after midnight and destroy our decorations, thank you.
Dear editor, This year our family participated in several local toy drives. As a frequent visitor to Party, Bounce and Jump, a.k.a. PB&J’s, we chose to support its Salvation Army Toy Drive and contribute a few toys.
Dear editor, This is regarding the recent interview with the owner of the barber shop located in the Bel Aire shopping center (“Hair today; barber hangs on in Bel Aire,” Dec. 18).
Dear editor, As we wrap up our 2007 Jog-A-Thon fundraiser at St. John the Baptist Catholic School, I would like to publicly thank the many people who helped to make it a success.

Last week, the Napa Active 20-30 Club brought Christmas to local schools, giving stacks of gifts to 165 underprivileged children as a part of Project Santa.
