A 23-year-old Vallejo woman is facing charges on suspicion of felony hit-and-run after witnesses reportedly saw her run a stop sign in American Canyon, striking an 88-year-old man on his bicycle.
Napa Police Sgt. Chris Perry said Jeanette Jordan ran a stop sign at the intersection of Kimberly Drive and Elliott Drive in American Canyon at about 3 p.m. Monday when 88-year-old Gatalino Patricio was crossing the street on his bike. Jordan hit Patricio with her red sedan, said Perry, knocking him off his bike.
Jordan fled the scene, said Perry.
One witness followed her, he said, and police apprehended her in Vallejo.
Perry said Patricio suffered “cuts and scrapes and bruises,” and was treated by paramedics at the scene and released.
There were no drugs or alcohol involved, said Perry.
