Breaking bread among generations
Dear editor, This is to the eighth-graders at St. John’s Lutheran School:
On Nov. 9, the senior citizens of St. John’s Lutheran Church were invited by the eighth-graders there for a treat of a full turkey dinner/lunch, prepared and served by the teens. They also provided us with fun entertainment. Your thoughtful invitation was much appreciated by some 30-plus of us. Again, thank you.
