Allen Dale Epperson didn’t get far after he drove from a Napa continuation high school graduation on Thursday.

“Something about the car he was driving caught a police officer’s eye and he ran the license plate,” Napa Police Sgt. Paul Paniagua said.
Police dispatch advised the officer the car had been reported stolen, Paniagua said.

Epperson, 20, was arrested on suspicion of felony auto theft and outstanding warrants.
