The Napa Valley Museum has a holiday open house Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. Mezzo-soprano Meghan Scheibal, tenor Nick D’Avila and soprano Naomi Silva will sing early traditional Christmas carols, and after the program hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.

As Napa’s art scene continues to heat up, the latest stop on the county’s arts and crafts itinerary is Nest at 1019 Atlas Peak Road.

About this time of year, it’s almost impossible to escape  “A Christmas Carol,” and, as with something that has been performed several billion times, Charles Dicken’s ghostly holiday story crops up in all variations, including the Disney cartoon with Scrooge McDuck and Mickey Mouse.

This Christmas, author and former Napan Anita Clay Kornfeld is celebrating “rebirth.”

Follies du Valle or “Don’t Quit Your Day Job” — the zany musical revue starring Napa Valley’s own local talent — returns to Lincoln Theater April 4, 5 and 6.
