After extensive renovation of the old building, the Bounty Hunter has re-opened with its wide selection of wines to taste, drink and buy — and light meals, too.
The Bounty Hunter is at 975 First St. on the Napa River in downtown Napa.
Oxbow Market preview Saturday benefits Copia
Members of Copia get a preview of the Oxbow Public Market on Saturday at a benefit for Copia’s edible gardens and Food & Wine Magazine’s “Grow For Good” campaign supporting sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
The market is set to open Dec. 15.

Get a Christmas tree and support your furry friends
Whiskers, Tails and Ferals, an animal care group, is sponsoring its second annual Christmas tree lot.
The tree lot features freshly cut noble fir and Douglas fir trees, garlands and wreaths.
Proceeds support the spay/neuter and adoption program in Napa County.
The lot will be operating until around Dec. 17, at the Petco parking lot, 3284 Jefferson St., from 4-8 p.m., on weekdays and noon to 8 p.m. on weekends.

Napa Humane offers pet photos with Santa
Napa Humane invites you and your pet to meet Santa, whisper some holiday wishes, and scamper away with a framed 4- by 6-inch image.
The photo shoots will be Saturday and Sunday at Pet Food Express in Bel Aire Plaza in Napa, noon to 4 p.m.
Napa Humane asks for a $10 donation per photo to support its programs and services.

Santa’s Helper’s Gift Faire is Sunday at Expo
On Sunday, visit the Santa’s Helper’s Gift Faire at the Napa Valley Exposition, where you will find more than 87 exhibitors.
Napa County Landmarks Candlelight Tour
Napa County Landmarks will present its 19th annual Holiday Candlelight Tour on Saturday, 2-7 p.m. in the Napa Abajo/Fuller Park District. This is one of Napa’s oldest neighborhoods.
Landmarks presents a group of historic homes in this National Register-designated district — some recently restored and never seen before on a tour.
In addition to these homes, the tour features one of Napa’s most architecturally significant churches, the First United Methodist Church, known for its superb acoustic qualities.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 day of the event.

Lewis Dairy not sold
In my item about the old Lewis Dairy property in east Napa, I should have been more precise: Linda Lee Harper bought 20 acres of the property with the old dairy buildings on it, not the dairy itself, which shut down years ago. She has restored and renovated the buildings.
