NAPA - Daret G. “Pete” Barclay, of Napa, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. A native of Tyron, Okla., he was 77 years old.

NAPA - E.S. “Bud” Cain went to his rest on Nov. 29, 2007, with his family at his side. At 82, he lived independently and never retired. He had a brief but challenging hospitalization at the end of his life. He took satisfaction in accomplishing “good things for good people,” which he did even on his final day despite his brave struggle with cancer and myasthenia.

MARIN - Long-time Marin County resident Stella Mindle died Dec. 3, 2007, at Marin General Hospital of a sudden illness. She was 97.

NAPA - Yvonne Marie Trujillo, 86, passed away at her home in Napa on Nov. 20, 2007, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Jules and Noelie Alcouffe who were from the Boudreaux region of France.

PERU, Ill. - Anthony J. “Tony” Ganze, 81, passed away Nov. 30, 2007. He was born Sept. 23, 1926, in La Salle, Ill., to Charles and Josephine (Bruciatti) Ganze. He worked at Westclox and for Burns Security Company. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He married Gloria Ganze on July 15, 1972 in Peru, Ill.

NAPA - Dorothy Jean (Garrick) Hendricks, age 74, passed away Nov. 29, 2007, of cancer. Mrs. Hendricks was born in San Francisco and grew up in Oakland.

NAPA - Phyllis Jean Jobe, 79, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Dec. 3, 2007. She was born on Aug. 22, 1928 in East Grand Forks, Minn., to David and Tillie Teal.

NAPA - John Alvin Franco passed peacefully on the morning of Friday, Dec. 1, 2007. John was born Jan. 18, 1916, in Napa, to John (Waan) and Amelia Franco. He graduated from Napa High School in 1934 and married Eleanor Gertrude Niccolls on Oct. 23, 1937. John and Eleanor recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

BIGLERVILL, Penn. - Nancy Souders Heyser-Orner passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in her home in Biglerville, Pennsylvania. Nancy was 78 years old.
