In Angwin, seeking a solution for everyone
Everyone that lives in Angwin is part of the community. The eco-village issue is not just an argument between landowners.
Spreading the wealth
Many people involved with civic life in the Napa Valley are overwhelmed from time to time by the sheer number of non-profit agencies and their many missions.
Kids are already sweet
Dear editor, Thank you so much to Dr. David Suttie for sponsoring and Las Flores Community Center for hosting the Halloween Hoot ‘n’ Howl.
Students thriving, thankful
Dear editor, I wish to thank Jillian Jones for the wonderful article written on our innovative technology program here at St. John the Baptist Catholic School (“Future is now at St. John’s school,” Oct. 30). Underlying Tech-IT is a solid and critical foundation of family, parishioner, staff and community support. Our infrastructure was made possible by a highly gifted technology committee and generous, ongoing financial support through our annual gala. Additional donations from the Gasser Foundation and the Napa Wal-Mart provided needed supplementary components. Without these valued stakeholders, Tech-IT would not be possible. Each has given generously of their time, talent and treasure. For this, our students are thriving and we are thankful.
A toast to Norm deLeuze
Dear editor, Other than the excellent obituary, I have been wondering why the passing of Norman deLeuze of ZD Wines was not mentioned in the paper.
A 912-lb.tragedy
Dear editor, This letter is to the person or persons who decided to smash my grandson’s giant jack-o-lantern on Big Ranch Road.

If evacuated, what would you take with you?
Some San Diego area fire victims had 10 minutes or less to evacuate their homes. If you were directed to vacate your home in ten minutes, what would you take with you?
