Art notes: Face your fears at Vintage High Haunted House
Once again Vintage High School’s drama department students have done their part to make Halloween a scream for everyone. Their annual haunted house — this year it’s the “Haunted House of Phobias” — is open this week through Friday and on Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30. It opens at noon for Vintage students, and again from 3 to 5 p.m. for the general public. Tickets are $1 and may be purchased at the door, located at the back of the Vintage High School Little Theatre. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Napa City-County Library has received the 2007 PR Excellence Award from the California Library Association. In a statewide competition, judges selected the Napa City-County Library’s monthly newsletter, News & Reviews, as the winner in the category of library news and information.
First corrections core graduation
