George Carl, Register columnist, dies from leukemia

George Carl, a longtime Register outdoors columnist, radio professional and community volunteer, succumbed to leukemia in his west Napa home Wednesday. He was 66.

Napan pleads no contest in death of teen

The Napa man accused of the 2005 murder of a 13-year-old Vallejo runaway has pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter.
