Do you have relatives or friends who have been intimately affected by the raging fires in Southern California? The fires have devastated many residential areas and hundreds of thousands have been forced to evacuate. If the people you’re close to have experienced tales of heartbreak — or heroism, the Register wants to hear about them. " I'm going to college in SoCal, and we had an extra-long weekend at my college, so I drove back home to Napa. But when I drove back to SoCal on Tuesday, the air was pretty darn smoky; I started sneezing as soon as I began breathing the air here, although the sneezing has pretty much stopped as of now. On Wednesday I decided to drive to Starbucks, and I found that my car was covered in a light layer of ash (which I had fun blowing off...). I've stayed indoors as much as possible so as not to breathe in the air. As of this morning, the air isn't AS smoky as it has been, but it still is a little smoky. "
