Veggie Tales
St. Helena United Methodist Church invites the public to an event for the latest Veggie Tales video, “The Wonderful Wizard of Ha’s.” There will be food, games, coloring and a story (based on the Bible story of the prodigal son) of forgiveness that reminds us all that, “God made you special, and loves you very much!” This all-new family adventure that reminds kids everywhere that there’s nothing like forgiveness and there’s no place like home. In November, St. John’s celebrates its 150th anniversary. World Community Day
World Community Day is sponsored by Church Women United on Nov. 2 at United Methodist Church. The program begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by a potluck luncheon. This year’s theme is “Embracing Justice Under God’s Tent.” Women of faith are called to look at the issues facing women today and determine where they can be instruments of comfort and solace as well. Community Faith & Fellowship
The Community Faith & Fellowship (formally known as the Community Prayer Breakfast) is now held at the Table. This month’s fellowship meets Nov. 5, 7 a.m. This non-denominational gathering is open to anyone and everyone who values faith in their lives and wishes to gather together with others who share similar interests. Pastor Lee Shaw, the Napa Police and Fire Chaplain, provides the invocation and blessing.
