The owner of Ranch Market on Solano Avenue in Napa spotted two men who looked quite familiar walking in the store parking lot on Thursday morning.

It turned out the store owner was hot on the trail of the two men caught on the store’s surveillance tape a couple of nights earlier, when the store was robbed, police said.
Police were called and took Daniel Vanderbeck and William Pearson into custody.

Pearson, 21, and Vanderbeck, 22, both of Napa, were arrested on possession of burglary, conspiracy and vandalism.

" For the record William Pearson was not even part of any of this and all charge were dropped. He just happened to be hanging around a bad group of people at the wrong time.A well learned lesson. "
