" Seems like lately people in Napa can't seem to keep their hands to themselves. I can understand being angry enough to hit, slap or punch someone. I have been that angry, but self control is a wonderful thing. It generally will keep you out of jail. "

" I am counting and this is the 4th article in the Register this week of Napa women arrested for assault, one was for attempted murder with a gun! The truth about the potential for violence by women is very clear and cannot be hidden behind their skirts anymore. "

" Everyone has the potential for violence, but the ones who use their heads before they use their hands are the fortunate ones who will not be arrested. There is always another way. Defend yourself if necessary and if you are threatened with death, get out or get physical, but never start it. No one, woman, man or child has the right to lay angry hands on another person. This kind of behavior is learned, not natural. Someone saw it happen in their childhood. I grew up in a very calm and loving environment which did not include hitting or slapping of spouse so my first instinct is to talk it out,not fight it out. Tax Payer is right - there seem to be an over abundant number of domestic violence reports this week. The moon isn't full and even that would be no excuse. Remember the sixties - Make Love, Not War. Not just a slogan - good advice. "

" There has been an increase in Napa of police arresting whoever has wounds -even defense wounds. She is innocent until proven guilty. "
