The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a DUI checkpoint in north Napa tonight.

CHP declined to give the exact location of the checkpoint, which will run about 5-10 p.m.
Depending on traffic flow, officers may stop all vehicles that pass through the checkpoint, CHP Officer Jaret Paulson said.

“However, if see we are creating a traffic jam, we will just do random stops,” Paulson said.
Although officers will be focusing mainly on drunk drivers, they will also be checking to make sure vehicles have current registration, drivers have valid licenses and proof of insurance and for seat belt violations.
