Jack’s the man on the links
Dear editor, We would like to publicly thank Jack Walters, who is responsible for the Junior Golf Program at Kennedy Park. He volunteers many hours giving instructions to young aspiring golfers, organizing teams and arranging tournaments. He also, at his own expense, provides equipment, prizes and free lunches for young tournament participants, and even pays their green fees in some instances. Kids in Napa can’t complain of having “nothing to do” when there are people like Jack who are ready and willing to give their time and resources to provide many hours of fun and recreation. Thanks, Jack!
