Police took a man and woman into custody on alleged domestic violence charges in two separate incidents on Wednesday.

The first arrest happened just after midnight when police answered a call of a disturbance in the 600 block of Costa Drive.
The man told police he and Laura Angelica Montanez were in an argument and she pushed him, causing scratches to his chest, police said.

Montanez, 33, was  arrested on felony domestic violence.
Later that day, around 1 p.m., officers were called to a residence on Westwood Avenue in Napa.

A woman accused Daniel Jose Barrera of assaulting her, causing visible injuries, police said.
Barrera, 39, was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
