Tony Heinricher told officers he was driving his Dodge Viper on Silverado Trail when he thought he had hit the brake, but hit the accelerator instead, police said.

Heinricher lost control of his vehicle, which fishtailed and slammed into the front of a home in the 1700 block on the Trail around 10 p.m., Wednesday.
Although no one in the house was hurt, the accident caused major structural damage to the home, Napa Police Sgt. Tom Pieper said.

Heinricher complained of pain to his neck and back and was taken to the Queen, Pieper said.
