The Napa High School volleyball team dropped to 0-2 with a 25-18, 25-16, 25-19 loss at Davis on Tuesday.

Napa High’s only five games into its varsity boys soccer season and it’s already suffering from injuries and feeling drained.

The University of Georgia, which won its fifth national men’s tennis title in May, is entered in the Residential Pacific Mortgage Napa Valley Tennis Classic, scheduled for Sept. 7-9 at Meadowood Napa Valley in St. Helena.

Napa Valley College is looking for players interested in joining its women’s golf team. Anyone interested can call Jim Wiechers, the head coach, at 255-0296.
