Meth bust

Napa Police officers arrested Marical Avina Martinez, 33, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest Saturday night.

Police located Martinez in the parking lot of 679 South Freeway Drive around 5:30 p.m., according to police reports. During the police interview, police reports show that Martinez took a small bag of meth from his pocket and then attempted to run from police. After a short foot chase, the officers caught up with Martinez and took him into custody.
