Hispanic Network scholarship banquet
The Napa County Hispanic Network will hold its 24 Annual Scholarship Banquet on Sept. 14, starting at 5:30 p.m. with no host cocktails, at the Silverado Country Club in Napa.
The banquet will feature dinner, awards, and a silent auction and live auction. Scholarships will be presented to high school graduates and college students.
Everyone is advised to purchase tickets early, as event can sell out. Advance tickets are $75 if purchased in advance and $80 at the door. Tickets are available for purchase at Teresa Foster's Immigration Consultation office at 2180 Jefferson St., Suite 103, in Napa. You can also purchase tickets by sending a check to the Napa County Hispanic Network @ PO Box 6227, Napa, CA 94581 or by e-mailing Maria Cisneros at mcisneros33@comcast.net.
The Napa County Hispanic Network was established in 1983 by local Latino leaders of the community with the original intent of being an information sharing alliance for the Hispanic community. Today, the mission of the Napa County Hispanic Network is to empower the Latino community by promoting higher education, building community partnerships, and achieving an equal voice on countywide issues.
