Dear editor,

I'm writing to let you know I really appreciate the great photo and story "Carolina Bound" in the sports section on June 30.

The champion team of young soccer players includes my neighbor Rafael Gonzalez, a.k.a Raffa.

What an accomplishment for the players, coaches, manager, parents and Napa.

This team, the Destroyers, are going for the national crown in North Carolina.

Please support them at upcoming events to raise funds for the trip.

Congratulations.
