Calistoga fire burns more than 45 acres

Firefighters hope to have a wildland fire that is burning on Mountain Home Ranch, near Petrified Forest Road, west of Calistoga, contained by Wednesday morning. The blaze, which broke out around 5:15 p.m., Monday, had burned about 45 acres as of Tuesday afternoon, according to a CalFire spokeswoman.

Following an almost two-month investigation, drug agents arrested a Calistoga man on suspicion of selling drugs Upvalley, according to a press release from the Napa Special Investigation Bureau.
