Napa Valley Center for Spiritual Living
The theme for June is “Creating Heaven on Earth.” Services are Sundays, 9 and 10:30 a.m., with a youth program at 10:30 a.m. On Saturday at 6 p.m., music director Diego Emir Garcia performs in concert with HD RB. This benefit for the Center is at the garden at 1249 Coombs. Info, 252-4847.

Avalanche Ranch
The Avalanche Ranch program at First Baptist Church provides fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for kids of all ages. Each day, kids sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble Chuck Wagon Chow, take on a Daily Challenge to let God’s love grow into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s Word and create Bible Point Crafts they’ll take home and play with all summer long. St. John’s Lutheran’s 100th anniversary
St. John’s Lutheran Church celebrates its 100th anniversary July 4. Parishoners will gather at the site of the original church at Second and Washington streets at 11 a.m. for a time of prayer and thanksgiving, then move to St. John’s at 3521 Linda Vista Ave. for a picnic and cookout with games and activities. All past members welcome.

Crosspointe Community Church

Finding strength and contentment in the midst of difficult times is Crosspointe Community Church’s topic as parishoners study the book of Philippians on Sunday mornings. Sunday service begins at 9:30 a.m. with light contemporary worship. Child care provided from nursery through grade five. Youth group meets Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Located at 1625 Salvador Ave., Napa. Protestant services at Vets Home Chapel

The Protestant Congregation at the Veterans Home of California offers worship Sundays, 10:15 a.m., at the Memorial Chapel, located across the street from the Administration Building on the grounds of the Veterans Home. Info, 944-4841.

Church service in American Sign Language

On Sundays, St. John’s Lutheran Church offers the 10:45 a.m. service in American Sign Language. This outreach ministry is led by Kylie Kirkpatrick, a certified interpreter. Everyone is invited to take part in this addition to the fellowship. St. John’s Lutheran Church is located at 3521 Linda Vista Ave., Napa. Info, 255-0119.
