Bravissimo for La Strada

Dear editor, The creative juices were flowing over the weekend at Copia’s south parking lot as hundreds of people gathered together in support of Napa’s cutting-edge and multi-dimensional New Technology High School.

Quite the juxtaposition, old-fashioned chalk drawings raising awareness and financial support for a nationally recognized high school teaching our students 21st Century learning skills! From the colorful chalk tapestry woven together by the passionate visions of more than a hundred talented artists to the great food provided by our gourmet restaurateurs and fine wine donated by our generous wineries, uplifting music from gifted singer-songwriters like local rising star Olivia Voss and the hundreds of helping hands of all of our volunteers, it was indeed a rich and rewarding effort. Special thanks to Susan Lane and Betty Owen, the dynamic duo who organized it all. Fantastico!
If you didn’t have time to attend the event, get down to the south parking lot of Copia soon, before it rains, and witness the great spirit and artistic vision of our collective community working together. As chairman of the board of the New Technology Foundation, I wish to extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in making La Strada dell’Arte an inspirational success and creative community masterpiece. Bravissimo! Mille Grazie!
