Denise Ernst and Greg St. John of Napa announce their engagement to be married on Aug. 18 at a private estate in Napa.

Denise is the daughter of Ronald and Cheryl Ernst of Napa. She graduated from Napa High School in 1992 and received her bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in 2001. Denise is affiliated with several environmental organizations and is employed by Napa County as a judicial assistant.
Greg is the son of Dan and Betsy St. John of Nevada City. He graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco in 1988 and from UC Davis in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in biology. He is an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout, Troop 333, San Francisco. Greg is employed by a Petaluma surveying firm as an L.S.I.T.
