African Women's Conference presentation

The Napa Main Library, American Canyon Library and Calistoga Library are closed May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. The Yountville Library does not have Monday hours. Sign-ups for this year's Teen Summer Reading Program, "It's a Mystery @ Your Library," are May 29-July 7. This two-hour class, scheduled to start Monday, focuses on identifying the different carb food groups, reading food labels and basic carb counting. It should be covered by most insurance. Tailgate party

Flying Boar Adventure Tours hosts a trip to the Oakland A's vs. Texas Ranger game May 30 at 12:35 p.m. Proceeds benefit Vintage High School's Culinary Program. Bonsai Club

Ron Kelly discusses the use and care of Bonsai tools at 6:30 p.m. Monday for the Bonsai Fundamentals session at the Napa Senior Center, 1500 Jefferson St., Napa. At 7:30 p.m., Jim Gremel, featured bonsai artist, leads a maple workshop. Wings of Freedom Tour

Participating in the Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour, the WWII Vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator WWII Heavy Bomber and the North American B-25 Mitchell WWII Medium Bomber will fly into Napa County Airport May 30-June 1. The planes are on display May 30, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; May 31, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and June 1, 9 a.m. to noon. Visitors are invited to explore the aircrafts. $10 donation for adults and $5 for children. Garden tour

Six private gardens in St. Helena and Calistoga are open, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 3 as part of the "Down the Garden Path" garden tour. Jazz cardio on Channel 28
